My name is Lauren McGee, Scottish born and bred! My career as a Showgirl has taken me all over the world, two world cruises, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Holland and of course the home of showgirling, Paris where I started and ended my full-time performing career at the world famous Lido de Paris where I had the pleasure of performing in two of their shows ‘Bonheur’ and ‘Paris Mervailles’ as a Bluebelle & Belle. Performing twice a night six days a week for 2 years of my career, gala’s, tv appearances, photo shoots and even the opportunity to travel to Bangalore, India with the Lido de Paris tour team! Now based in Amsterdam I offer showgirl/audition technique workshops easily adaptable to your schools needs/age range and experience level! My aim is to share my passion for showgirling and pass on my knowledge of the industry!

I began dancing at the age of five at The Mary Phelan School Of Dance in Edinburgh and training in ballet at the Edinburgh Dance Academy followed by a 2 year intensive course in Musical Theatre at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts in Edinburgh. Since graduating in 2012 I have worked for Qdos Entertainment(UK), Lido De Paris, Jean Ann Ryan Productions(Miami), Showgirl Entertainment(London), Vegas Showgirls(Germany), Palazzo Variete (Germany) appeared on French TV on ‘Le Plus Grand Cabaret Du Monde(Paris). My career has taken me around the world twice on two cruise lines as well as America,Germany, Belgium, Austria, Holland, France in other respective work. I’ve worked with choreographers such as Mic Thompson, choreographer of Lido de Paris’s 10year running show ‘Bonheur’ and Jean Ann Ryan production of ‘Cirque L’amour’, Benoit Swan the assistant choreographer of Lido de Paris’s new production of ‘Paris Mervailles’, Natalie and Andre Paramonov World Professional Showdance Champions, Eddie Strachan American So You Think You Can Dance Finalist,amongst many others. Due to my experiences with these choreographers, companies and places I want to bring to you Showgirl Masterclasses in the best possible light, marinating all my experiences and knowledge into the class……with a fun, all smiles, heeled and feather twist suited to whatever age, stage and level you require!
